Collegiate Series (1907)

Beginning in 1907, the Congress line produced six decks featuring five Ivy League universities: Cornell, Harvard, Pennsylvania, Princeton, Yale, and one non-Ivy League school, Michigan. Why Michigan was chosen instead of a sixth Ivy League school is a mystery. Currently, we know of only two collectors who own all six decks of this series. These decks use the (Hochman) US6f and US6g aces of spades, indicating these decks were produced from 1907 up until the wide sizes ended in 1922, although this series was probably discontinued shortly before 1910.
