HOW OLD IS YOUR DECK?
This is the chart used to help determine how old (or new) your deck is. This applies to USPCC decks and any other company after being acquired by USPCC (Dougherty, Hart, etc.). Refer to the video links below to learn what other elements of your deck you will need to figure out the age. It is typically a letter followed by four numbers. The letter is the date. The digits are USPCC production lines/printer/quality control information. For decks printed 1899-1920s, typically the first set of digits is the month and the second set is the year (EXAMPLE: 1-13-121-Z = January, 1913, production line/QC 121-Z).
